TROUBLESHOOTING:

What do I do if nothing is projecting?
  • check the connections of the cords that connect the projector to the laptop
  • confirm that pressed the correct button on your laptop to send the signal to the projector
  • press the input select button on the projector until you see PC-signal in the bottom right hand portion of the screen
  • You can modify your display settings in your control panel. Changing the resolutions setting to a lower resolution (i.e. 600 x 800) might help transmit a signal from your laptop to the projector.
What if I want to play a video that has sound?
  • You can check out PC speakers from the PSBA office to plug into your laptop to broadcast audio of a digital movie, DVD, or video clip.
What if the projector turns off in the middle of my event?
  • Check the power source for all equipment and the power strip
  • Turn everything off and follow the instructions to confirm that everything is plugged in and turned on correctly.
What if I have a Apple / MAC laptop?
  • Apple / MAC laptops require a toggle to connect your labtop to the projector 15-pin cord. This is a six inch adapter / connector that came with you laptop. It might be the thing that you said, "What is this for? when you opened up the box and unpacked your laptop for the first time.
