Janitorial Service

SCHEUDLE

The janitorial service cleans the building on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday.

They visit the building from 6 pm - 12 am.

They are responsible for emptying garbage and recycling on each visit.

DETAILED DUSTING

Monday: First Floor Offices

Wednesday: Second Floor Offices

In order to keep your office clean, we need your help to allow the janitors to do their work.

The janitors do light dusting on every visit, however they do detailed dusting once a week (area above 6ft once a month). If you want your workspace dusted regularly, please clear it of papers and other items before you leave on the day when detailed dusting is scheduled for your floor. The janitors will do detailed dusting on the first floor on Mondays. They will do detailed dusting on the second floor on Wednesday. The janitors are instructed to not move items on desks or shelves. So, if you want an area dusted please clear it on the appropriate day.

The janitors will dust all low-reach areas (6 ft. and below) weekly. This includes workspaces that are cleared.

The janitors will dust all high reach places (above 6 ft) on the first week of the month on the detailed dusting day for your floor (see above). This includes shelves, overhead cabinets, and tops of partitions.

  DISPOSING OF LARGER ITEMS

ON-SITE WASTE DISPOSAL IS FOR COMPANY BUSINESS USE ONLY. DUMPING GARBAGE IN PSBA DUMPSTERS IS PROHIBITED. VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO PENALTY.

Option One:

If you have cardboard boxes or larger items that your company is throwing away please attach the blue post-it notes that say "N&C Service" to the item and check the box on post-it to indicate whether the item should be put in the trash or recycling. You can request a pad of these post-its from the PSBA office.

Option Two:

There are recycling stations in each of the kitchens. Here there are larger containers for cardboard / paper and other trash or recycling.

Option Three:

For large amounts of trash or recycling there are dumpsters in the parking garage. Please read the labels on the dumpsters to make sure you get the trash and recycling in the correct dumpster.
